German company founded in 1850 by some Brause brothers to make pins, needles and writing nibs. Has had a floating destiny in office supplies through several management dreams; recently purchased by a French paper company which seems to maintain the nib making against all odds. Many items had disappeared in the meantime but the most important designs remain, such as the famous Bandzug, the name of which means only "large bands".
